Now, I cannot categorically state that doing the school run, followed by a trip to Asda is the most exciting way to spend a Monday morning, but it's what I do so I have to embrace it. There were the usual idiots zooming around there with their trolleys without a care for anyone else's health and safety - the clientele in there are definitely worse than in Sainsbury's, that's for sure. There was an article in my local paper about a group of, well let's call them 'ner do wells' who formed a circle around the meat freezer prior to the assistant marking the meat down. The group then fell upon the reduced carcasses, exhibiting 'animal-like' characteristics to obtain the best spoils. This kind of behaviour is adorable in this day and age I'm sure you'll agree?
People who know me are aware how much I love looking at the cards in Newsagents' windows (which isn't the same as the cards in phone boxes - keep up!) I'll do a blog post about that at a later date, but there's a strange charity shop en route home which was displaying the following odd item outside the door:
What on earth is it? I'm perplexed. It's rather special though, I hope you'll agree.
